OK so my dad just let Starr our dog back in the house after he Sprayed her with Adams Tick & Flea remover, and now she's as hyper as h*ll and wont stop running around and rubbing against the furnitrure.

And my dad let her back in because "She'd get more fleas if let her stay out there". Now the house the furniture and evertyhing else stinks.

she doesn't like the smell of it, and she's trying to rub it off. Just as well, because it's made with a pesticide that isn't all the good for her anyways. Instead of spraying her with poison, treat her K9 Advantix once a month. It's much less irritating and safer for her too. Also works better.

All dogs are different, some dogs may get hyper over food, while others dont even like the same type of food. My dog gets hyper if I talk to her in a playful tone, or when I wave around a toy.

She's most likely happy to be back in. I suggest the Frontline or Advantage spot ons for just this reason. No stink and less mess on the fur. I'm sorry I don't have any cures for you. She'll settle back down soon, then I guess just shapmoo the carpet and furniture. Sorry.

She's doing it for the same reason you can't stand her in the house;
because she can't stand the smell of that stuff and it's on her.
She's trying to get away from the smell.
Don't be surprised if she starts rubbing herself all over the carpet or furniture, she's trying to get it off of herself :)

The poor dog doesn't like it either and is just trying to get it off her. My dogs do the same thing.

if its a smaller high energy breed, the answer may just be to walk her daily 15-20 minutes at a brisk pace.

haha...I bet she doesn't like the smell either and is rolling around and rubbing things to get it off. Give her an hour to get used to the smell and I bet she will be better.
