Unless you are gifted with computer skills, or construction HVAC etc, get used to saying would you like fries with that.. In todays world even the above mentioned labor intensive work takes education in order to get ahead. Good luck, you will need it

You WILL NOT ever be able to support yourself without a high school diploma or GED. Regardless of how much passion you feel for music, this is simply a fact of reality. Have you ever won any awards, contests, or recognition from an official music program or company? Try out as soon as you can if music is the life you wish to pursue - it will give you a very good perspective on your chances. In the meantime, however, you MUST WORK, and it is so difficult to get a job these days that not having a high school education will be like shooting yourself in the foot before a race. EVERY artist needs to work in between gigs, unless you make an amazing career from the starting point using a company program such as American Idol or other talent searches. You probably need to see a counselor or a professional if you can afford it for this level of depression. You really need to try harder to work on your studies and get a GED at the very least if you flunk out. There are plenty of free help lines and services if you can't afford it, so please check those out if you can't motivate yourself to get the work done. They WILL get you the help you need.

Of course you know that a GED is the test-measured equivalent to a high school diploma. There are virtually no high paying jobs for that level of education. There are some higher low-spectrum jobs for you to look at. Mostly in the telemarketing and service sectors. There are many choices to get either a degree, or vocational training. I think you should get busy and find a job for experience, and get in a class room. This is a good time for you to visit local tech schools or a community college to see what options are offered. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but that is how it is. A higher-educated person gets a better pay rate.

I have worked with a great team for going on five years now - it has brought me home full-time to be with my kids. I make 4 times what I used to make at my old office job working half the hours all at home. Visit www.GoodLifeToGreatLife.com for more info or call 877-216-1940

You can be a janitor......they pay well..wink, wink...
(I don't think you're smart enough to realize they don't...)
Seriously, high paying careers are only really obtainable if you have a college degree. The more degrees you have, the more money you can make.

Construction trades could be good, but those require additional education, although not college - need apprenticeship.
Sales can be good if you are good at it.
