One Senator has even talked about restarting the draft here, so we have more military to send to Iraq. Why is every abled body person in Iraq not in uniform and fighting for their country?
I guess as long as haliburton is doing good, that's what's important!
And I don't want to hear about we are training them, give me a break!

We can send an American to a 3 mo. bootcamp, and them send them to war and maybe die. How many years does it take to train Iraqi's?

Oil is the reason why America is still in Iraq.

The Los Angeles Times polls in June found that 67% of Republican still approve of the way Bush is pursuing the Iraq war and 31% voters in the country as a whole favored Bush's approach.

This is to Colter B: What do you mean they found WoMD's? There were never any WoMD's in Iraq, and it was Afghanistan that blew up the Twin Towers. If you're going to respond to a question, make sure you know what you're talking about first. WoMD's were Bush's excuse for going to Iraq. All we found in Iraq was a few terrorist training camps. Admittedly, we did capture the 2nd-in-command, but that was near the beginning. All we're doing is failing to rebuild their country and succeeding in ruining both American and Iraqi lives.

We're there because there's oil there. We're spending $60 billion every year we spend in Iraq, when we could be doing something about the falling US economy, because some people think we can get oil cheaper if we help Iraq.

Because it is secretly one of the greatest vacation spots in the world. The military is pretending it is awful so we send more money, while all they are doing is drinking Mai Tai's and not wanting to ever leave. They love it.

But it may be because we are sincerely trying to help out and "make it work" and it's like being in a bad relationship...you just never know when to leave.

That senator is old news. He is pissed because he thinks white people are sending black people to war, and he wants the draft back to send over more white people.

Actually we are still there because of the prime beach front property, and plenty of space for golf courses.

My answer is just as silly as your question. Stop asking we don't know. Quit trying to bring political arguments into the military section.

..... I have gotten so tired of responding to these anti-war fanatics that come on here to foam at the mouth about "bush lied" and "we are killing innocent people" and all that stuff... they blew up our buildings and had WMD's, we found chemical weapons what more reason do you people want?
