you people are the reason for the down fall of society... you have to have the approval of others to decide whats right or wrong for your child? lets be real here !!! this isn't about dating
its about sex!!! the question should read would you approve of your son banging a girl 3 yrs older...and whats the issue with age??? if you cant sleep with someone with an gap in age difference, then damnit Buffy you cant play tennis with them either, or cards, or even talk to them!!!! you are an erotophobic society that segregates sexes in the first place, and now age? You are creating an ugly world!!!
Procreate means just that , and if you cant create like a pro -- your just breeder... and if you say the saying " my baby can be anything it wants to be when it grows up ' that means you ...betcha i can make a better phd than U!!!

Depends on the ages of both individuals. 14 to 17 is much different than 24 to 27. The reasoning has to do with maturity, experience and exploration.

Depends on the age. If the boy is at least 18-20, then I'd say if the girl wants a younger guy, he should count himself lucky. As long as it's that old or older, there's no big deal on age really.

I have four grown sons and would not mind if they even dated someone 5 years older as long as she had a good head on her shoulders and treated my son with respect and love, what it all comes down to is love and commitment which is so hard to find nowdays.

Well first it depends on how old the son is. If he is under 21, then NO. And why would a woman 3 years older be lurking around someone younger? ECK!

3 years is not much difference. Well unless the kid is 15 and you are 18. Then I would be worried. At that age a year or two means a lot in development socially, sexually and mentally.

3 years older seems ok, but how old is your son? If he is 14 going out with a 17 year old, I wouldn't think it's a good idea.
