Actually, I know how to cook it, but, I am needing to know how to season it. Any ideas?

I love mine with freshly chopped garlic, freshly ground black pepper, kosher salt and horseradish - rub on and let sit for at least an hour before cooking!

Prime Rib Herb Paste

1 tablespoon chopped garlic
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
4 tablespoons olive oil
1-1/2 tablespoons Lawry's Seasoned Salt
1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
:
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and even. Spread evenly over the surface of the prime rib roast.

The better the meat, the less seasoning. I use salt, pepper, and garlic. Only very lightly for the finest of beef.

Best thing is to keep it simple. Avoid garlic at all costs, it smells foul and spoils the flavour of the meat. I would use a little olive oil brushed on, a sprinkling of black pepper and mustard powder and a little paprika. Don't add salt, it toughens the meat.
