obsessing about body image, concern re calories in everything. complete refusal to eat in front of people;usually followed by "i ate before i left the house" etc .sensitive to the cold- even when its warm outside;wearing of many layers to try and look bulkier.skin will usually suffer too;grey looking, sallow complexion with spotty outbreaks. scalp hair loss, often patchy.excessive body hair as the body attempts to regulate the haywire hormones and protect from loss of body temp. lethargy and general disinterest of previously enjoyed activities. absence of periods. ur right to be concerned about ur friend. there are many things happening to the body during anorexia that cant be seen -loss of bone density, heart muscle strain, circulatory problems. please find an adult u can confide in if u cant reason with ur friend. am assuming it is a she?she needs help before she causes irreversible damage to herself and will need the support of many if she is to be pulled back from this illness . good luck xx

You write under all your answers that you study to become dietitian so you should know this or at least where to find it and not ask it to people who "supposingly" know less on the subject than you do.
