I have to share a room w/ my sister......?

I am not getting hardly any sleep,and am doing poorly in school b/c of it.There's nowhere else for me to sleep,the basement my sister is always in,and the attic has mice and no windows.The music vibrates through the floor,and my sister doesn't listen to my mom or me.I am soo tired all the time,and am constantly fighting w/ my sister.I also have severe anxiety.What should I do?I've talked to my parents about it,but they won't do anything!

Tell the school counselor what is going on and that you need help with this.

I can think of a few things...
* Take a trip to the hardware store for some safety foam earplugs to dim the noise.
* You could have your mom get your sister some of those wireless headphones so the music will not be blaring and keeping everyone else awake.
* Spend more time sleeping at friends' houses. If your grandparents are in the same area and can handle getting you to school, see if you can impose on them.
* Issue one last word of warning to your sister (you might want to clue your mom in on this one) then when your sister is away, you take the offending noise-making device and either hide it or disable it. Prepare ahead of time by hiding any prized posessions (perhaps at a friends' house).

If your sister is this blatantly and aggressively nasty, you will have to get every bit as under-handed to establish an even playing field.

Fot he anxiety... see if you can get your mother to get you something called "Holy Basil" from the health food store... takes the edge off and helps you to calm down and focus.
