I find that frequent dreams are a way of your sub-conscience coming forward. Its a way of your mind realising thoughts into actions as you would do. Or even things that you would like to do or are unsure of. Its a test run of senarios also. This in turn makes you more likely to act on your thoughts just as your dream plays out, hence (sometimes) making your dreams come true! Hope this helps.

Recurring dreams are something that you are trying to tell yourself, when you get the message, the dreams leave. As to whether they come true or not, most dreams are symbolic, and the language of the dream is trying to tell you something.....

Apparently, if you dream something 3 times then it's gonna come true. I'm one dream away from Madonna performing at my old school. LOL

They just mean you have a situation in your past or present you havnt dealt with, and psychologically your brain is doing it in your sleep, I had recurring dreams about my mother after she died, I was her carer for 18 years, with the last two bieng very difficult, I used to dream she was not dead and I was back looking after her, I have to tell you I was not very happy about it! eventually I had a dream that she phoned me, and was complaining I didnt see her anymore, I just said "you are dead, I cant help you anymore" and put the phone down, I didnt get my recurring dreams again after that, so my brain clearly worked it out, finally!

Yes they mean something. Often a repeating dream is meant to represent something in your life that your worried about etc.
