i downloaded a game but when i tried to play it i got an error about direct3d.....someone told me that i need to download IT FROM THE MICROSOFT WEB SITE BUT WHEN I DID, IT SAID I ALREADY HAD IT SO THEN I TYPED IN DXDIAG IN THE RUN SECTION AND CLICKED ON DISPLAY AND IN THE NOTES IT SAID THIS............

you need to find out what kind of video card you have and go download the drivers from the manufactures website
try going to the system icon in control panel and go to Hardware tab and device manager.
uninstall your display adapter and restart.
windows will attempt to load a driver for it and it may show the type of vid card you have.
If you don't have the correct driver, copy the info down, continue the install, cancling is ok. Default driver will go back in. Then look for the correct driver online through google.
if that doesnt give any info, then you'll have to take the card out and read the info printed on the card.
look for a s/n or model number and search for that in google.

may be you need a better video card
