Does anyone know if the power door locks have the auto lock feature? Thank you.

Thank you JT Ford Man. What is a FOB? It does have the metal pull up and push down locks that screw on.

No it does NOT. Nor were they EVER even equipped with a key fob. The only models equipped, were the ones equipped the keyless entry keypads, which were controlled by a DDM (Driver's Door Module). This module also controlled the auto lock feature. Hope this helps.

Most CVPIs didn't have autolock (I think it is only found on newer ones (like since 2003) and those are ones with street appearance package only)


What Ford man was trying to say was a key Fob or remote.. however it doesn't matter as it's inside the module that controls the locks.... Most police units use hardwired door locks whereas the civilian versions use a module to control it.

Its hard to say without looking at it , I would think not, If your key fob has a lock button there you go it won't have a auto locking, hope this helps.

Not that I remember. Police cars here in Tn doesn't have them, I have worked on many and never seen it.
