If you don't have time to smoke ribs low and slow . Cook the ribs tomorrow. Don't spoil good ribs cooking them wrongly. Smoke low and slow. Change the menu today.

NEVER boil ribs...removes tastes and texture. Smoke rules.

It will take less time to boil the ribs than it will to just throw them on the grill. They will have to be cooked slowly for a considerably longer time. I once tried pre-cooking them in the microwave, but this dosn't work very well, they just didn't taste right. Considering the results, I suggest you take the few minutes it takes to boil them before BBQ

Don't boil ribs--bake them in the oven for best results.
300 degrees for 2-4 hours.

If you put them right on the grill, they will burn & dry out LONG before they are cooked. If you don't have time to pre-cook them today, make them some other time.

NEVER! NEVER! BOIL RIBS FIRST!!! SACRILEDGE!!!! You will remove considerable flavor and ruin the texture. Slow cook them in the oven, about 250 degrees F covered for about 2-1/2 hours. Finish on the grill just to make a crust and glaze with your favorite sauce. Ideally they should be cooked in a REAL barbeque, indirect heat, low and slow for 4 to 6 hours with plenty of soaked wood chips for flavor, hickory, apple, mesquite are all good choices.

it will take a while to cook on the grill bcse of the thick bone. you might try to put them in the oven for a while then move them to the grill to crisp and bake on the grilled bbq sauce taste
i did mine in the oven... slow cooked at 280-300 for 4 hours.
