He didnt see me but i see him and he does not know so i strike him on the head with any object in the house he might end up dead or in a coma and thats not what i want i want to knock him out and call the police to come and arrest him.What area of the head shold i strike.Near his neck,on the top of the head,the area near the ear.were exactily?

side of the head(toward the temple, between the eye and the ear) or jaw,top of the head is pretty hard so its not the best place(but if you are striking with an object like a frying pan doesnt really matter where you hit em) back of the head is very vulnerable however striking there(called rabbit punch) can cause brain damage or death

Maze him or poke him in the eyes! Kick his groin or BREAK HIS FINGERS! Then you should call the cops! It's better if you buy a alarm system! Once he hears the noise he'll just run away! Get a dog! BUY A BB GUN AND SHOOT AT HIS LEGS! Invite some friends and wait for him to break in and capture him! The left or side of the neck is where you want to hit! With a judo chop or punch! Behind the ear at the end of the jaw is a KO point as well! Jaw is a better point to KO him! If you have a bat or club hit him in the Knee hard! Or Dive and grab his ankle and break it! You could break it by twisting the ankle hard and fast! Then he''ll be easy to control!

well, in situations like these, I have a 12 gauge, which would be pretty effective. Even if I did not shoot him, I could use it to knock the fizzle out of him. If per chance he had a weapon, then the shots shall ring out. The law more or less states that if you feel threatened for your life, then you can use equal force to protect yourself, thus if I see a gun, then I will feel free to use my gun. As far as where to strick, the temple or back of the head, or the throat would work pretty good too, then the head.
But hiding would be the best thing and let the cops come and get the guy/gal. You can replace most belongings, but you can't replace your health or life.

I would call 911 First... Then they would be advised and it is on tape..
Try not to confront him because you dont know if he has a weapon or not.
Get a good description of him.. Clothes,style, any marks,tattos..anything to help identify them..
Only if you are being threatend should you try and defend yourself... Then you defend yourself in any way you can. By notifying 911 first it proves that there was a burgler in your house and you had to defend yourself...
As long as they dont see you i would go and hide in a closet and wait for the police to arrive.. You have a better chance of not getting hurt or killed.

Are you kidding, If someone is in my house they better hope I don't kill them. Legally you have the right to defend yourself and our family. If someone is in your house they are a threat to yourself and your family. If you dont like a gun then I like the old strategically placed Louisville sluggers around the home. If you are afraid to hit someone in the head then the ribs . I would recommend not stopping until the threat is neutralized. By nuetralized I mean cannot walk talk or fight back in any way.
I dont know if you have kids but if someone broke into my house I would take that as a direct threat to my children. No holds barred........Um ..No weapons barred........Um....No mercy Sorry dude wrong house.

Hit him on his jaw line. That's the knockout point. If you hit him on the temple hard enough he could die. The top of the head is the softest part so it could be deadly. Hit him on the back of the head hard enough and you can give him amnesia or kill him. If you hit his forehead it might not do anything but hurt him because that's the hardest part of the head and if you punch someone's forehead hard enough you can actually break your hand.

The best is to stay away from the head all together.
A full power kick or punch to the solar plexes works great.
If someone can't breathe they are not much of a problem.
Consider having two German Shepards they know what to do and their hearing is much better than yours.

are you kidding!?!?! someone breaks into your home and you don't know their intensions so you just want to "knock them out"? Trust me you want to hit them in the back of the skull and keep hitting till your sure they not only will not get up like some bad horror movie but that they NEVER get up. By breaking into your house they have already exhibited their disregard for you and yours .....KILL THEM before you find out if they intended to do the same to you . All bets are off when you do the criminal act of breaking and entering!

Tsk, who said you need to hit him in the head to incapacitate him? Just use a baseball bat or a golf club on his knees or shins, if he can't stand he can't run, time enough for you to wait for the cops to come, end of story.

You want to hit him on the back of his neck to knock him out. I wouldn't worry about hurting someone who broke into my home too much.
