Did you follow the diet describe in book...if so were you successful? The book was published in the sixties, I believe.

Titles are deceiving. You can lose weight without counting the calories, but basically you have to eat less than the calories you burn to lose weight. In that respect, calories do count. Anyone who tells you differently is in denial of the fundamental laws of biophysics.
