I want to ask you something. Do you want to go out with someone who likes you for yourself, or someone who likes you because you conform to some ideal? Find someone who likes you for you; that's the only type of person worth bothering with. And plenty of girls like skinny guys. What really matters is what you are like as a person.

It is more important that your body functions than what it looks like. Anything that is a bit out of the normal is bound to make you feel self conscious, especially if you don't know why you are as you are.

Anyway, not having the perfect body doesn't stop you from being pleasant, a good conversationalist, considerate, having a sense of humour, being artistic or anything else that makes a person likable or admired.

Crack jokes about it, like I never pay fares on public transport, because when the inspector comes on I just turn sideways and they don't see me.

Or I've got a TV body. TV makes most people look fat. If I get on TV it will make me look normal.

Don't feel self conscious, be proud of your body, feel great! Girls tend to like guys who are confident of themselves but not arrogant.

Think yourself lucky all those 'designer skinny' clothes you can wear. Hold your head up and stand tall. You are what you are and say to yourself before you go out 'I am beautiful' oh well guys can say that too you know..Be proud and walk with confidence. You should be mixing with people your age and laughing not worrying....have fun.
