Oh dear. I'm so tempted to call that strep. Ideally you would see a doctor.

Eat Jello, pudding, soup- especially chicken soup. Drink lots of water and tea. Add honey to the tea to help sooth your throat.

Whatever happens, you don't want to dehydrate.

Good luck!

I get bad sore throats all the time ( i need my tonsils out but dont have the money) but I just constanly suck on halls-get the kind with the anestetic. even though they tase nasty they really do help.
I also take warm salt water and gargle it like 5 times a time for 30 sec each. that usually help.
If there is white stuff on your tonsils or back of throat you should really see a dr. could be strep-mono-tonsilitis-bronchitis-laringitus etc
may friend claims this recipe he uses works on him but i have never tried it he takes 2 cough drops and puts it in simmering water, add a little honey and lemon juice and keep stirring until it disinagrates. and drink that-probably will nasty lol
i would stick to he halls and warm salt water. hope you feel better soon!

in my opinion, i could bypass see a doctor for this. this may well be Strept throat and that i've got heard assorted memories on how that is risky....there's a volatile style of strept throat. so bypass see a doctor for that!! If it is not that undesirable of a "swollen throat", then in basic terms take some tynenlol

chloresptic spray for your sore throat can help. You can apply it directly to your throat as many times as you want. Stay away from acitic drinks like Orange Juice. Drink lots of water and sip on some soup w/ crackers.

Soup not too hot, with bread dipped into it, increase to
vegetable soup as the throat becomes easier!
Gargle with salty water ia as good a germ killer and
soother as anything more expensive.
Suck strepsils between times, honey variety!
Good luck, you will soon be back to normal.

Sounds like a infection, so you should go to the doctor. Usually fever means an infection. You might have strep or infected lymph nodes. BTW, i am not a doctor!
