Shouldn't you be praying for death? If you are correct and Heaven exists, surely you should be hoping that you and all the people you love will die ASAP? Shouldn't you be happy when someone you know gets cancer, or gets hit by a car? In fact, shouldn't you be encouraging your kids to play in the road?
Please don't think I'm trying to be sarcastic or mocking, I honestly would like to know why you aren't all jumping at the chance to go skydiving, or climbing Mount Everest, when you know that the worst that can happen is you will recieve eternal bliss?

Does it count as suicide if you just do something dangerous and die as a result, but not as an intention?

What about that brain-dead lady (Terry) a few years ago, and her parents wouldn't let her go to heaven? She had to linger in a hospital bed until her husband could prevail in the courts.
They were church folks, but didn't seem to have any idea their daughter would be happy in heaven.
My suspicion all along is that church folks, in their heart of hearts, really do not believe all the crap they promote outwardly.

I want to go home, no doubt about it. I understand the point you make. However I believe in reincarnation. While in spirit we have the choice regarding whether or not to come back to earth. Earth is the plane of existence where we learn the lessons we need in the quickest fashion possible. Until I no longer have a choice I will stay here and do my best to learn, grow and live as Christ taught. I think I make a difference in some lives. I also believe that life doesn't last nearly as long as we think it does. I am happy for someone when they are able to go back home, as long as they don't go by throwing the gift of life back in God's face. The only sadness I experience when someone I love die, is that I miss them. It's very selfish actually.
Blessed Be

Php 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
Php 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Php 1:22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
Php 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Php 1:24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
Read this,it is more needful that I stay that other may know the love of Christ.

God will take my life if my goal here on earth is done. And we are to do as. Matthew 28:18 "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."

Some of us trust Gods judgement and have no fear of death.....but not all accidents kill you, and if its not your time to go, you can't make it happen......you could only succeed in making your time here in this little hell on earth last longer with perhaps more misery. God gave me a body and children to take care of, I do the best I can, live life with joy and and don't worry about where I go or stay when God calls me home.

Well, seeing I'M not a Saint I won't be going right there anyway, so I think I will stay here and pray that you will get there. I believe, but I'M not stupid. We have life to enjoy by living it and doing something nice for others. Peace

I'll die when my time comes. Until then I know that God has things planned for me and well...I don't want to miss those things.
Why do we cry when Christians die? Because we are sad to lose them even though we know they are in a better place.

Ok sam I'll play your game. Yes I do look forward to dying however when it is my time... God will let me know. There are things that we are supposed to learn here first. However why would I want to turn loose of my children to go back to God. I am selfish... I want to enjoy them as long as I can first. Instead of praying to die we pray that he will accept us when we do. What part are you confused on?

everyone is here for a reason: to make a diffrence. whether its for youself or others, theres a reason your here. and people are sad when someone they love dies because thats one less person they have to help them on the road. but they have trouble showing happiness that theyre going to a bettter place.

No, you should be living life to the fullest and do God's will and be saved so that you will go to heaven when you die but don't rush it.
