No,
know ,accept and live the Four Noble Truths, the Five Precepts and the Eightfold Path.

There are many different Buddhist groups that have different initiation rituals, instructions and practices.

hmmm... some people is quite ignorant that i feel they like idiot... (hopefully you know who i mean.) if you said there is no god in Buddhist then there is no god in this world( not to be insulting... sorry if i do) you had your religion other had their too... you believe in yours others too... good that you stay in your place right now... in some part of the world, you are as good as dead... as for the question, Buddhist is divided to two part the one in china you no need to go through any ritual as it is quite common there, as the one in Tibet there is a ritual that you will be bless by the highest monk in the land as he pronounce you a member of their family(there is a connection with the history as the reason that Buddha is only being practice by the royal family in Tibet in ancient time)

Not really a ritual. I suggest you read up on - and learn the basics of the faith. Then begin to live by them. That is enough.

Ask at your local Buddhist temple - look in the yellow pages or online.

No; you just believe in buddhism, that's all.

Rituals are silly, aren't they?
