goodlooking but dumb or smart but average-looking?

The reason I ask is because I am an average-looking guy and the ladies never even look twice at me. But I am smart and funny, I read books, I have interesting things to say about life. But when I'm at parties, all the girls flock to the goodlooking dumb guys! Can someone explain this to me please?

I would much rather date someone who is smart but average-looking. I am a total sucker for a guy who has brains. That is SO hard to come by this day and age.
I guess all the ladies flock to the good looking dumb guys b/c they're just eye candy. If a girl is intelligent, she'll see that looks wear thin if there's nothing else he can offer. If they still like him after they find he's not all that smart, then they're not worth your time anyway.

the second one hands down I don't care how cute a dummy looks he would still be a dummy.
