There are many negative apsects to global warming and a few positive ones as well, these negative aspects are very worrying.

However, there is a lot of work going on 'behind the scenes' that rarely gets reported in the media. Lots of people are working on ways of fixing the problem, these ideas are in their early stages but some have been tested and shown to work. More testing is needed and the schemes would have to be implemented on a large scale. These schemes could slow down or even stop manmade global warming. Perhaps in 20 or 30 years we'll be in a position to put right the damage we've done.

Please don't be afraid of global warming. The chances that you'll suffer more than a few inconveniences really are very small. Be aware that the media often focus on the dramatic impacts and can be guilty of oversensationalising the real impacts.

Sure I am. But worrying gets you no where. You have to take action to stop global warming. I know what some might think: I'm just a teenager or a kid I can't do anything by myself. But the truth of the matter is that how would you know if you didn't try?

Here are some ways that you can help:

Do your school science project or report on global warming so that your peers will become alert of the issue.

Don't always ask your parents for rides. If it's close enough ride your bike, skateboard, or walk there. It's good exercise too.

Don't leave your computers and AC on all night, that wastes a lot of energy.

The list goes on and on. But the important thing is for everyone to take action. Come on, you know that global warming is happening and it's bad for the earth, so why can't you make little adjustments to your life that will help stop global warming?

Nope because global warming is crap, its just another bunk issue that liberals and hippies are using to scare people to vote crazies to congress and the White House. By the way, I'd be careful about quoting Al Gore, not only does he claim he invented the internet, his house uses 2.5 times the amount of energy than the normal household but he thinks it ok because he bought carbon credits, this is just an example of the hypocrisy and idiocy of the liberals.

Al Gore is like every other politician, he wants power! He's really a hypocrite who's using global warming as a way for people to like him. I am not afraid of global warming and you shouldn't be either! Live without fear of stupid things like global warming!

Most of us should be concerned about global warming since there are signs all around us that we are destroying our natural environment. Did you realize that 2006 ranked as the hottest year on record in the continental US? DId you know that the US is the top ranked polluter in the world? There are other additional facts that we should know at this website.

Let's be informed and each do a large part to change our world. Here is a place to start. Remember this: your car releases 20 lbs. of carbon dioxide into the air for every gallon of gas it uses.

So if you want to reduce your own personal global warming pollution, pick a car that's highly fuel efficient. Start by looking at the eight vehicles now available that use hybrid engineering to improve fuel economy and also are rated as Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicles:

Ford Escape*
Honda Accord* and Civic*
Lexus RX400H
Mercury Mariner SUV
Saturn Vue Green Line*
Toyota Prius, Camry*, and Highlander* SUV

(My next car will be a hybrid.)

God bless us all!

Whether or not Al Gore is quite unliked we are warming a quite an astounding rate. The consensus is that a natural warming trend is being accelerated by human caused CO2 put into the atmosphere.

That the world is warming now is no longer contestable.

I really don't know how a warmer climate will affect me though it will be nice having warmer winters but warmer winters may result in drier growing seasons and more intense forest fires.

I am afraid that by the time all of humanity wakes up and realizes that this is a problem and we can effectively and cheaply slow down the effects of Global Warming back down to its natural cycle it will be to late.

And I have a question for "I am the Walrus, sweet angel3..., Uber G, Beck J, Tydo89, and ac achen." If the world continues to think like you and decide that Global Warming is not a problem and we shouldn't do anything to stop it then what are you going to say? What are you going to say in about 30 years to your children and/or grandchildren when they ask you, "What were you thinking? Why didn't you do anything? What are you going to say?

No reasonable human being is afraid of GW. The human is so adaptable, because we have brains and can learn and pass on knowledge, compared to the ignorant and helpless animal. Enviros are more like animals in that regard. Al Gore is a liar or else ignorant. His hockey stick rise of CO2 has already been discredited by his own 'scientists'.

risks of a hotter climate: extra drought, no longer adequate clean water for people and vegetation, becoming tides, etc etc. merely as many issues as a chillier climate.... the version is that we are dealing with a hotter climate, no longer a chillier one. and admittedly, international warming is real, its merely a count number of no count number if its guy-made and the severity of the warming. it could desire to be merely a organic warming cycle and not additionally be that threatening. only time will tell. the two way, the earth is warming.

I am definately not afraid of global warming. Global warming is a hoax, just another lie to bring attention to Al Gore really. I mean, the guy wasn't a beginner of the World Wide Web as he said. Why believe him about global warming? I watched a great debate on global warming called: Evangelicals & Global Warming. I included the website I got it from and it isn't that expensive. $15.00 basically, the company The Nicene Council ships very fast and they were great to deal with! Check it out, it will calm your fears. :-)
