There is no 'beyond'. There might be alternates, but no beyond. It is expanding, but not into something.

So far in public knowledge there has been no sign of anything other than more galaxies. There are no confirmed public stories of aliens.
I have no mathematical skills to explain distances, but they are huge, so the time involved in traveling is too great to worry abut anything from space.

Religiously I guess eventually you get to the glass that surrounds everything, as were in one of those paperweight globes on a shelf in GODs den, or study - right? Like in MiB 2? So if the glass never breaks were fine.

Spiritually - I do not know.

Thats a meaningless question. asking whats outside this universe is like asking what continent is souther than the south pole, and asking how was everything like before the big bang is like asking what did you do before you were born (and concieved).
Space and time were created along and exist only in the known universe.

No beginning no ending.
Probably just goes on forever. Time has an equation in there somewhere.

Who knows, other universes? Nothing? A different dimension? All bet we'll know someday but find even more questions in the process.

Astronomers can't see the edge of it, so the truth is no one really knows for sure.
