Gelatin is made from collagen; that, in turn, generally comes from the bones of cows or pigs.

I am not trying to be funny or gross,but Jello is made out of the hooves of horses or cows,I am not kidding. I quit eating Jello when I found out that there was horse and cow hoove and collagen ingredients in there,ewww! *Winnie Gagging*
