Perhaps you could derive your internet site name from something that you have a connection with. For instance my web site logo will have a green theme to go with my family name which is also the name of a particular tree. I have used the leaves and the fruit of this tree in my site.
My name of course is my own. But because I am a woman working in essentially a mans world I have shown my initials and surname. This is ideal for a professional site because you need your name to be associated with your work.
If your website is a fun one with photographs that are not of a professional nature, snapshots etc then a funky name might well suit. You could have a few friends around for coffee and get them to brain storm with you. Pick the name you like the best. Perhaps the friend who suggested the name could get a small token prize for being the chosen one.
