College is the same as High School with all the goofy kid stuff missing. You get a chance to find out who you are and then be yourself. The rest is just going to classes and wasting time with a bunch of new & interesting friends.
Everybody is nervous the first week. So, do it.
There are things in the world to be really afraid of; always value integrity and respect, and you will not need drugs.

Your MD gave you Inderal LA (propranolol HCl):
Inderal LA and Half Inderal LA sustained release capsules contain the active ingredient propranolol hydrochloride, which is a type of medicine called a beta-blocker. (NB. Propranolol is also available without a brand name, ie as the generic medicine.) Beta-blockers work by blocking beta receptors that are found in various parts of the body. Blocking beta receptors prevents the action of two chemicals, called noradrenaline and adrenaline, which are produced naturally by the body. These are often referred to as the 'fight or flight' chemicals, because they are responsible for the body's reaction to stressful situations.

If you do have to make a presentation, I don't think it will be everyday all day. Most of the time you should be OK.
