I have a friend who wants to dye her hair, but she has lice. She thinks it is almost gone, but she has to wait like 2 or 3 more weeks to know. She wants to dye her hair right now, but she doesn't know if the chemicals in lice shampoo will affect the color of your hair once it mixes with the dye chemicals? PLEASE HELP!*

Probably not a good idea to put dye on your head after using an insecticide for parasites. What happens if she dies her hair, and then finds out she still has lice, then she has to put more lice shampoo on her head? Probably not a good mix of chemicals to put on your hair, unless you want it feel like straw and go up in flames if someone is smoking next to her head.

sorry but hair color, perms, relaxers DO NOT KILL LICE! I'm a stylist and trust me, when a mom brings her little girl in to get a perm and all her hair cut off, that usually means she has lice. I don't know how your friend got it, but its more important to get rid of the lice than color her hair. And I'm not saying she's gross because she probably got it from someone else but have you checked your head lately? Shampoos are not enough. Usually they get on your pillow and wind up all over the house.

first just wait for the lice to be gone wait a lil more and then when u no there gone try being sure before u dye ure hair

Lice hangs directly to the scalp and your hair it sounds like dandruff ,in case you attempt to pull it off and it don;t come off this is lice,they have hair kits for this at any shop.It Itches extraordinarily and this is quite contagious,never the place a hat or barrettes or a pony tail holder of somebody else.

okay first off the dye will kill the lice they cannot survive the chemical that is in the dye . and for most ppl who dye their hair you wont get lice . I would be carefull If I were you cause lice can jump and do . stay away from her untill she rids herself of them . good luck .
