i bought lexmark company scanner, i have a project work report of my seniors. please anybody give solutions for my problems? 1)how can i scan all the pages contiuously in RTF format or JPG format, without clicking for every page 'SAVE' option.2)currently i scaned 100pages in TIF format, but unexpectedly the electricity turned off and no back up of my ups & i did not save those pages. how can i recover them? any alternative ideas for scanning and saving? i waiting for ur reply.

As long as the scanner uses a standard TWAIN interface, ANY scanning software should work, although I'd be tempted to suggest using PDF not RTF or JPG.

MANY scanning progs have scan to PDF options, and if not you can do it in acobat itself, or in word with a "PDF printer driver" installed.

Irfanview is a free program primarily known for being an image viewer, but it's also what I use for my scanning. It has a batch scanning mode so all scans will be auto-saved to your hd, and it can scan straight to jpeg
