i need to find out specifications for the strength of spot welds when used for aircraft equipment. and any other similar information is extremely useful,

was not quite sure wot ya wanted so i have given web address's that included :

prices of repiars and equipment
background infornation on thw weldiong process used
website of actual aircaft manufactures and repairs
and hopefully more helpful information like the fact that they are thinking of using laser welding to making aircaft lighter.

the information is not clearly presented in this sites so for the information you want you may need to read a little and search the sites soz about that but i personally believe that it will help you learn more as it did me when i started last year doing my engineering course.

The weld strengths required will depend in part on
the aircraft for which the equipment is intended.
Various classes of aircraft are required to withstand
different G loadings.
Certification for aircraft use is a minefield.
Be prepared for frustration cubed.
