Wow, you don't know many Christians do you? I go to parties, movies, hang with friends, drink, read fantasy fiction, love Harry Potter and LOTR, and have sex.

I as a Christian have led a horribly boring life including and not limited too...Spending time in Scotland, England, Hawaii the Cayman's, Jamaica, 38 of the United States. I live on the Beach in Florida, yesterday after spending 2 hours at Church about 30 of us went to Lunch and had fellowship for about 3 hours. The only thing that was different about the group of Christian friends that we were hanging out with and our secular friends, is the men weren't learing at the waitresses, their was no multi colorful language and the spouse weren't picking needlessly at each other. Afterwards a group went out on the Gulf to go fishing and do some water skiing. That's a typical Sunday. Okay so we don't drink and we don't do drugs, my hubby and I don't argue about other men and women in our relationship, becuase we put each other first. We try to watch our vernacular, just because with small children around even if you aren't a Christian it's just the right thing to do.
I don't know I don't think being a Christian and living for God doesn't mean you can't have fun. We have a blast and spend lots of time with our kids. Anyway, that's the life of a boring old Christian.
Oh and too answer your question, we spend way to much money at the movies. Again most of the movies we go to are Disney Pixar. However we did go see Die Hard a month or so ago. Great flick. I just choose to watch the language and the sexual content, if it contains either I just simply choose not to watch it. Not boring just not my taste.

Are you kidding me?? All I do is have fun, all the time. But I'll admit that I know some pretty boring Christians too. So I guess there are all kinds of people who are Christians, some do a lot of parties, some go to lots of movies, some go on trips and things for fun, lots are into sports or other activities. I have fun just talking to my wife or answering questions at YA.

Christians have fun like everybody else. When you become one you will have christian friends and go to christian movies and parties. Remember once you except Jesus your attitudes and priorities change but you still have fun like everybody else. You will not want to go do the same things you were doing before because Jesus Christ will change things inside you, He will give you a peace you never had before, he will show you the right way to do things so that you don't get hurt. Think about it, if your not a Christian and you go to a wild party you might drink and drive and wreck right. You could get hurt or hurt somebody else right, If you go to a Christian Party you will not do that. Being a Christian is the most important decision you will ever make in your life. Think about it. I can show you how to become a Christian right now, just say Dear Lord I confess to you that I am a sinner in need of a Saviour, I believe that you came to earth to die on a cross for me to be a perfect sacrifice for my sins, I believe you rose from the grave the third day. I ask you to come into my heart right now and save me and make me one of your children. In Jesus name Amen!! If you Prayed this Prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of the Lord, Amen.. Now find you a church and start reading your Bible. And you will see that it is much more fun being a born again Christian than not being one. God Bless You...

lol, okay first of all I am a Christian and so is my entire family. Just last week I went to Panama City Beach and had a blast! I went to a few clubs ( no, I didnt drink only because I have never liked it) and danced all night and had a great time with friends and husband. When I returned home I went to a big BBQ that my neighbors had and again I had a great time. And guess what? God still loves me and I still love God and Jesus too. Of course Christians still have fun, what a silly question. Having God in my life has only fulfilled my life even more and made my relationships and life so much better.

I am a Christian. I like to run. I run 4-5 times a week. It is a good way to clear my mind and keeps me physically fit and it is FUN. I ran my first marathon March 3 this year. It was FUN. I like to go camping and fishing too. It is FUN. I went to a Third Day (Christian band) concert last month. They are great and it was FUN. I like to ride motorcycles and I race off road, like enduro and cross country. It is FUN. I like going to movies and watching DVDs. I am going to see a movie tonight. I like spending time with my dogs. That is FUN. I like riding mountain bike. I bought a really good Diamondback 3 months ago. I am considering doing mountain bike racing next year after I get some more training. That is FUN. I love the St Louis Cardinals and I enjoy going to baseball games. That is FUN. Yes I do spend a lot of time at church. I help with the teenagers and youth ministry. I attended a youth conference at Orange Beach Alabama last month. That was FUN. Spening 5 days swimming in the Gulf of Mexico is FUN. I am learning Greek and Hebrew and I study the Bible everyday. and I take college courses on the Bible. That too is FUN.
I did the drinking, partying, wild women thing. It is dangerous and foolish. Sorry.

You must be a teen because you don't even understand what it means to be christian. Living a life for God and following His way of life does not constitue having no fun at all. Jesus actually went to weddings and what would be called parties in modern day. Being christian does not limit you to having a good time and enjoying yourself, just as long as it is something that God would not frown upon. I don't call myself a christian but I live a life God would have me and I still have my fun. I don't know what "fun" is for YOU? Drinking? Smoking? Having sex?doing drugs? I don't fall under the whims of peer pressure and I always do right by God.

No, Christians don't give up having a life. If you read the Bible, you will find that Jesus partied. He just didn't sin. (He didn't overindulge in food, alchohol, etc.) He loved life. Many things that seem fun at first (gossip, spending too much money, etc.) get old fast, have terrible consequences, and don't give lasting peace and happiness. Try reading the Bible for yourself and decide how you think Christians are taught to live.

Of course I have fun. In fact, this summer has been the most fun of my life, and I'm 56 years old.
The bible says, if you commit your ways to God, He will give you the desires of your heart. God knows the things I like, and He brings them into my life because my heart belongs to Him; I love Him, and put Him first.
He loves that I love to have fun, and gives it to me. There is such a thing as good clean fun, that doesn't include sinful things. I much prefer that to the kind of "fun" I used to have when I was young and didn't care about the consequences of what I did.

We do all those things.
I have been white water rafting, rock climbing, rappelling, etc. I swim a mile almost every day.
I go to parties. I go to amusement parks.
I roller blade.
I go to movies....horror, all kinds.
Now if you think it is only fun if you get so drunk that you throw up, count me out. I do not sleep with a different guy every night. I don't do drugs. I don't think it's fun to go around stealing and looting and destroying other people's property.
That's not my kind of fun.
