I didn't know he was TOTALLY self-centered/selfish until I had a baby by him. Now its too late. Just curious on what could have been done.

I wouldn't recommend it. A person who is self centered is someone who is still mentally considered a child. A real adult is never self centered especially when it comes to his or her responsibilities. But if you want him back the best way to get his attention is to move on. I know this sounds silly, but if you start going out with other people and start dressing cute and flirty he'll notice that you don't pay attention to him any more and like the child he is he'll probably get jealous and do what he can to get you to notice him again. So to answer your question just ignore him and move on with your life. In the end you might find a really nice guy who treats you like you deserve, or you might end up attracting the man you want back.
-Note: If this is the soul reason why you start dating other people again, to get the self centered guy back, don't play with the other person you're currently dating's heart. Be honest with them. Say, I just got out of a serious relationship i'm not looking for anything serious I just want to go out with someone interesting right now. This way if you do hook up with the self-centeered guy again, the other guy wont be as devastated.

Are you seeking punishment for yourself? A self-centered person will only give you what little is left, if any, of the attention lavished on himself. Do you really want to invest all that time, energy, emotion, and effort on someone who's not going to do the same for you?

Oh my gosh, you don't want one of those. I know this guy that was continuously calling me and such .. yet everytime we hung out or went out for lunch.. the conversation always ended up about his ex's and about him. I remember going into the mall one time and he's like, "10 bucks everyone will look up at me." So we walk in to the mall and only a few looked up.. It's a turn off.
Find other guys!
Oh and by the way, I haven't hung out with that guy since haha.

First, why would you want to date a guy who is self centered?
Second, you cant get him for a reason.
Third, you can already tell its going to be a bad relationship.

Run away from him as far as you can go. If he is too self centered then he won't even budge. But, if he has potential then he might come after you. If he doesn't come after you then you have saved yourself a lifetime of heartache.

b super popular & fake. guys who r like that only date for his own image, which would b increased by being with a great girl.
but why in the world would u want some1 like that? self-centered ppl only care about themself & dont care about any1, & u probably can't change that. all girls want a guy who understands & respects her, which he won't e able to do. so 4get about him.

don't even waste your time. If he is self-cenetered then you already know that you won't even really matter to him. It would be like having a full-time job without the pay, benefits, ect. Leave that one alone.
