Paying child support and visitation are two different issues. You aren't paying to see the child, you are paying because you are obligated to support that child.
If you want to see the child more then you have to return to court. But the only way to get support changed is to prove that your or the mother's financial situation has changed.
Contrary to what others are saying if you married a child's mother and were part of their life you are a parent and in many places have to pay support until that child is 18. Even though they aren't biologically yours.

If he is your step-son you should not be paying for him. If you signed adoption papers that's a different story. If he now is legally your son you need to help provide for him with the child support if your seeing him or not. The courts will probably not lower it if this is the case.

Look up your local family court, or where your paying the child support to...hes not your son and your paying for him...shes a conartist
I wish you luck but if you don't see him and it constitutes that in the order you should be able to see him....
look up the courts first then all other questions should be answered

Child support has nothing to do with whether you get to or even want to see the child, or he wants to see you. It's the legal obligation you have to financially support your child. Your options are limited to showing that you actually have no legal obligation to support the child, or that the amount of the support payment is somehow unreasonable.

if it's more than you can afford you have to go back to court to ammend the payments. in delaware they have a means test. it takes your income vs mom and debts/expenses to come up with your payments.
