When you have a parent type that just happens to have the personality of those that like to make everything about them. How it affects THEM, makes THEM feel.....
Essentially just making it worse because when you get into an argument with your sibling you already feel a little bad wether you were right or wrong, and then your parent, because they HAVE TO get involved, basically puts salt on the wound. Your not children anymore, your parents don't need to intervene. Plus on top of it all THEY can't even drop it, the parent has to call "just to talk" about what happend. And then call again the next day for same thing. I mean seriously what happend happend. It was just an argument not anthing terrribly serious like a damn fistfight or anything like that. THEY just want to continue talking about it so they can be involved because they are THAT co-dependent. Can anybody else relate? I mean, what can you tell them to back off without hurting THEIR feelings?

It's impossible, I think. They love you so much that they just want every thing to stay the same. You know, the perfect ,happy family. It stresses them out when all is not well.

It makes them feel useful to talk it out. They are only trying to help but make the situation worse by frustrating you. Then you feel that if you give in, your parents are still telling you what to do.
Just listen to them and explain that you need time to think things over without interference. You can listen, and still be in control of the situation. If you avoid them or tell them off, you will probably regret it someday.

First of all don't involve them. If they call to ask, just block, and say nothing and it's over. It really is no concern of theirs unless they are truly being affected. I have little sqwabbles with my brothers all the time, big deal! My parents do not get invovled unless we bring them in which we don't. We have to learn how to deal with and respond to this situation as adults anyway and if we can't do it on our own, what will happen when our parents die and we really have to make big choices together. Tell the parents to stay out of it, and make sure that they do.

Uhm aims do not assume the destiny. that's absurd. which ability you could or will possibly not have an argument with your sister. in case you do it is not because of the fact of your dream, that's perhaps because of the fact human beings ARGUE constantly.

Once you have to tell your parents politely but firmly not to involve themselves with such petty incidents.
