I'm making french fries in the oven at the moment, and was wondering what kind of seasoning should I put on them ? Do you know of anything besides salt ? Would Paprika taste any good ?

Regards

Bay seasoning is wonderful.
Paprika is okay.

You want to try something that sounds gross but rocks?

Mayonnaise. I swear. I learned it in Iceland.

Zaxby's uses a red seasoning salt; Checker's uses a delicious batter that gives the fries that unique, mouth-watering taste. Salt is also added to the fries. But if you want to eat those Checker's fries at anytime, without going to the Checker's restaurant, go to Walmart's freezer area. Found by the frozen vegetables, frozen fish, and frozen french fries section are Prepackaged Checker's Frozen Fries. They are delicious and cost $2 or $3 for a huge bag of fries. If they are made in a 425 degree oven for about 20-25 minutes, and sprinkled with a bit of salt, you'd think that they were made at the Checkers restaurant. :)

During high school, I'd eat french fries everyday. My favorite seasoning? Seasoning salt. Then I'd mix ketchup and ranch dressing and make a dip. Sounds gross but I really liked it.

If you have a zester, make fine pieces of garlic and make garlic fries. And yes, mayonnaise rocks on regular fries. There's many other things, such as freshly ground black pepper, seafood seasoning--oh, and though I've yet to try this, (I just thought of this) fresh crab meat would kick ***.

Paprika would work fine and it most certainly has a flavor. I like salt and pepper.

I like Lawry's Season Salt. Paprika doesn't have any taste. It is just for show.
