When I go to navy basic training I will be 2 classes short of finishing my bachelor's in accouting and finance. The school is 100% online (pheonix). Will I have time during "A" school ( lets say after classes ) for EM to finish those 2 last classes?
How long is "A" school for electrician?

no. you will NOT be allowed to take any classes other than A school. Once you hit the Fleet, you may be able to after a few months( you would need to get Qual'd first and get permission from your DIVO.)

Depends on what kind of electrician. If it's Aviation Electronics, the first course is about 5-6 weeks long, and is followed by another series of courses... in which you'll go as far as your performance will allow you to go... So there's no real telling how long you'll be in. My son was in A-school six months... some met their maximum potential and were sent to their follow-on schools after only 2-3 months. While in A-school, my son was pretty busy with homework, pulling guard duty, formations, etc... and wouldn't have had time to do anything more than that. Once he was assigned to his permanent duty station, though, he had plenty of time.

Some people try it during 'A' school but it won't be easy, you will however have plenty of time after 'A' School, you can take courses on alot of ships, and you will have no problem once your on a shore command. I think conventional em school is around 6 months long, might be slightly shorter.

I am assumeing your talking about AIT and if yes even if you had the time computer access is going to be the biggest Issue better put it on hold until you Grad and go to your normal unit then you will be able to use your own computer in your room unless you are assigned aboard ship.

During basic, don't even think about it. There's too much to do, and you'll be just too tired to worry about college.
Even during advanced individual training, it will be difficult. once you're past that, it's more realistic to think about it.It's do-able if you want to do it bad enough. Good luck.
