Junior has been trying so hard and had so much bad luck, he deserves this win. I am a big Elvis fan,drive an Impala and pull for Junior. I am looking forward to next Sunday. GO JUNIOR!!!

Dale Jr. will give it a 1000% try. He has nothing to loose but everything to gain. But I feel he's going for the win, not for the chase, because he knows where he stands, and what the possibilities are. He will finish out DEI with all the heart & hard driving he can give to win races. Then at the end, he'll feel good about all that he's tried to do and has done and have NO regrets to moving on to a new future and new year, for himself and his fans. And I as one of his biggest fan as well as all his other fans will be right there cheering for him all the way, and backing him in all that he tries to accomplish in 2008. I will be at Richmond and win or loose I know he'll be driving his heart out there too for a win as well as the rest of the races for DEI.

Dale won there last spring. And since any of us really do not believe he will make the chase why not run all out for wins. I think if he performs as he has been he has every chance of winning it. He has a great team and a great car and is a great driver.
Wouldn't it be a kick in the pants if he won and harvick dnf's early though. Stranger things have happen. Heck Dale's daddy even had the Daytona all but wrapped up several times only to get a flat or some other stoke of bad luck but he finally won.
Wouldn't be ironic. But are you all sure he will have elvis on the hood? If I am not mistaken that is in fact the 29 cars paint scheme and Reese's big push right now. The peanut butter and banana cream bar?

He has to win, he has a pretty good record at Ricmond..He has had some top 10 finishes here recently but he has to win, but even if he wins, he will need Harvick, Truax jr and Kurt Busch to have a bad night ..But even if he doesn't get in the chase, he can take Tony Stewarts attitude when he didn't make the chase, just go out and win some races, just because you don't make the chase theres no rule that says you can't win races.. I'll be sitting here at home with my Dale Jr Die-cast Elvis car I picked up this weekend at the race here in calif, and cheering him on..

He would have had a good chance anyway,but especially now since most drivers that have been locked in the chase kind of holding back.
You've seen Gordon the last few weeks more or less advertising .Last night Busch layed back, just making sure he did not wreck so he can make the chase.

He will run well next weekend because he runs well at Richmod he has
7 top 5s / 9 top 10s / 3 wins / and hia average finish at Richmond is 10.1 that is an impressive track record at Richmond

Yea he won last year at richmond, so I think he can win 2 in a row and get in the chase!
