Election is just that, there is no need to think of age of reason, if one is part of the elect it makes no difference when death comes. The elect are going to be with Jesus.

Below the age of reason a child is judged based on their parents.
1 Cor 7:14Â For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in relation to [his] wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in relation to the brother; otherwise, YOUR children would really be unclean, but now they are holy.
Even if one parent is a Christian, then the under age child is saved.
Examples of this is found through out the bible.
Noah's day, The flood destroyed all children under the age of reason.
Both destructions of Jerusalem, babies died with their parents.
In Lot's day. Both cities the young children were destroyed.

The Bible does not speak of "the age of reason." It is a construction of human beings.

I really don't think it matters what our call would be.
There's only one Judge.
I think that God's got it well in hand....Since he knew us before we were born, since all the names of the elect are written in the Book of Life, it really doesn't matter what I think.
[HOWEVER.... in my flesh I would have to say:
Yes, every SINGLE baby and child that dies goes straight into the everlasting arms.]
