Cenar.
Sr. Lemon Cream got it right.
Desayunar -- to eat breakfast.
Almorzar -- to eat lunch.
The first time I asked a Hispanic woman to lunch, I asked "Quieres almorzar conmigo?" She said Si, si [forgive lack of accents on the i's]. A couple years later we were married. So be careful.

Dinner is "cena"
If you are trying to say "We are going to eat dinner" you would say "Vamos a cenar."
Hope this helped.

Actually, it depends. In a progressive tense, for example, "I am/was eating fish" it is "comiendo pescado". But, if you are using it as the subject of a sentence or clause, as in "Eating fish is healthy", than it is (El) Comer pescado. So, depending on the context it could be: a. comiendo pescado, or b. comer pescado So Dave V. is also right.

In Spain you would normally use the verb 'cenar' which means 'to dine' or 'to eat dinner.' It doesn't sound so 'upper crust' in Spanish as the English 'to dine.'
