Why do you believe that there is no God? I really dont get it, ok i see that you say that you think there is no Father becuase you can not see him, but he works through people. Look at Earnest Angley. Where do you think he gets the power to heal people from? Thats all God. Tell me why you feel that he isnt real please.

Im not Athiest but I used to be. I remember how I felt before I met Christ. I was confused and hurt. I felt rejected. I grew up in a very broken home and I felt that if there was a god that he would save me from this pain, or if there was one he never would have let me into this pain. I was very wrong. The devil blinds ppl and shields them from the word of God and ppl get stuck in the world. It may be that their hurt, or decieved into thinking their is no God. But there is. B/c not only do i remember the hurt and pain and bitterness I had towards God, I also remember the moment he looked past all those things and healed me from the hurts and gave me strength to stand. So reach out to aithiests and bring Christ to them. B/c everytime you reach out to 1 ur planting seeds that will grow. Sometimes it just takes patience. I know it is crazy that ppl believe there is no God but we have to remember they have no hope. And what there feeling we probly cant imagine. And sometimes ppl think there life is better w/out Christ, Not true! Their lives arent better. They "think" they are but they are very decieved. That was an amasing question you asked. Just pray that there ears will be opened to hear and their eyes opened to see the truth. : )

The reason that I don't believe in "god" is because I don't believe in any supernaturals at all .
Faith healers do not heal people who have real ailments. Here's how faith healing works. There are two kinds of healing. First there's the person who doesn't really have an ailment, he just imagines his sickness ( typical hypochondriac ).The hypo has all kinds of problems even though all medical tests prove that he has none. If the hypo really believes that the healer can "cure" him, he could be permanently cured of his imaginary ailment.
This is called The Power of Suggestion.
The other guy has a genuine aliment that he goes to the healer for. If he is superstitious and believes in faith healing, he could be made to feel much better, after the healer's preformance. The difference here is that the cure is imaginary. Within a very short time he is just as sick as before the faith healing.
This is again called The Power of Suggestion.
No one with a clinically proven ailment can possibly be actually cured by mumbo-jumbo.

First of all Mr. Angley is a fraud just like so many other so called faith healers. If he truly had the power to heal why isn't he healing those with cancer, diabetes As quickly as possible because he can't. He's a conman a very good conman. Now on to the idea that i don't believe in god. I have never said that there is no god. I believe that there maybe some other force or kind of life in the universe. I simply don't believe everything man is and has become is due to one supreme being. So i ask questions here not to insult or inflame. But to encourage creative thought, to learn and examine religion. In the hopes of gaining a better understanding of man and what drives him, feeds and nourishes his spirit.

Maybe Earnest Angley's power comes from the anti-God of a different religion, granted to try and confuse people. Maybe it's all a scam.
On the assumption that he DOES have true healing power, explain how those of other religions can also seem to heal - Shamanism, for example. Then explain why he doesn't heal certain groups of people - amputees being the most well known example.
I have never heard an argument or seen evidence (someone else's subjective experience won't convince me, just as my subjective experiences wouldn't convince anyone else) to conclude there is a God.

Let's get something out of the way first: Things shouldn't be considered "real" unless somebody can prove they're not. The burden of proof is on the one making the claim, always. So if somebody claims there is "paranormal activity," the burden of proof is on them to provide evidence showing their claim correct...if they can't, their claim should be ignored as worthless. Now, as for the things you talked about: EVP: there is no evidence any of these are real, come from anything "supernatural," or anything but either wishful thinking or frauds. Ghosts: there has never been any evidence that a "ghost" exists. None of any kind. People *thinking* they see a ghost is not evidence. Orbs: dust and specular reflections in photos. I'm a photographer, I can re-create "orbs" anytime I want to, nothing supernatural. There is no evidence any of those things even exist, let alone show there's any kind of a "spiritual world." Please go get some education. Peace.

The IDEA of a god is a human idea. Just like the idea of a hero. Unlike animals, humans need role models to learn to live correctly, i.e. morally. Dogs have insticts that guide them to act like dogs. Dogs do not need morality, therefore they do not need a philosophy. We do. The dogs of a thousand years ago are no different than the dogs today. This is because they cannot have IDEAS. Dogs do not create civilizations, improve their life, discover or invent anything. But humans do!
So, to get to your point. Whatever power (magic or not) exists in the universe, it has to be discovered, experimented with and applied in order to be understood. A reasoning person does not invent answers. If someone has an unusual power for healing by a simple touch, it ought to be studied by scientists, not explained by theologians, or witchdoctors. Primitive people, too, regarded every unknown, unexplanable phenomenon as supernatural -- the power of some super-human creature. Today it is not acceptable, or reasonable, to replace knowledge with superstitions.
Let scientists do their job. We discovered the unknown forces of the atom, how galaxies are born, how life is formed and developed, how we can communicate with invisible radio waves across the planet, I think anybody's healing gift may be scientifically explained, too. It is more reasonable to think in LOGICAL explanatations than ready-made invented ones. Although, I can agree with you, it is a lot easier to answer with the word GOD for everything we don't know or don't understand. Ready-made answers are seldom true, and truth is what is ultimately important. It takes effort and time to discover the truth. It takes no effort or time to imagine anything we wish to be true. Just because we are not omniscient or infallible it does not mean that we are incapable of learning and acquire knowledge one bit at a time.

A. Atheist .... Explain.
B. So a "miracle healer" that work with Placebo effect. Now that is something to show god exists. Try chanting Ninja Turtle rocks ..... after 10,000 times you can cure cancer. If it still cannot cure cancer, then you are not faithful enough, keep on chanting until your cancer is cured. If in case you die while chanting, it prove that the cancer is fixed, you just died. After you die, You went to the hard shell or you are still not faithful enough (Now, who can prove that?).
---------------
A person who believes blindly will be the naive ones. How long had you know the boy on wheelchair? How long had you know the deaf woman? How long had you known the boy who had tumor?
Anyway, you "help" is appreciated, but not required. If there is something like a god, then this god could save the world easily, but as you read from the bible, he is nothing but a spoilt brad.

I don't believe any god/s are real because there's no actual evidence that any is. If there's no evidence that something's real, the logical fallback position is that it's not.
I've no idea who Earnest Angley is, but if he's claiming to "heal" people through his god the way that Benny Hinn does, I'm going to say that he's likely a fraud. The mind is a very powerful thing, and if people going to him are absolutely convinced that he can heal them, it may work the way placebo medicines sometimes do...if someone believes enough that they'll be healed, their mind will make them feel better for a while.

I belive in science. Compleatly. God, doesn't make sence to my worldview just, bizzarly as some people have pointed out, I don't actually have much faith in many forms of maths. They just make no sence to me. How can you see things that are the other side of space using numbers? How? How can this guy named God, Allah (pease be upon him), Jahova, Brahmen, Vishnu or any other god influence everything I do and feel? It just doesnt quite ring true.
P.S. Just cos you belive in a god doesn't make you stupid or nieve, I just don't agree with you. Actually a lot of religions can be so kind, the Jehova's winesses we get in our town want to save our souls. Which is very kind of them but maybe we don't want to be saved. However religion (or atheism) can be misused, "God wants me to kill these people, so it's okay" or, on the flip side "She belives in a god, what a stupid idiotic person" I belive these things are wrong, why should we have the right to make someones life worse because of something they do, or don't belive. Lots of people on here are being cruel because you asked a question that you wanted an answer to. Some questions should be kept to ourselfs.

Religion first evolved as polytheistic to explain natural weather phenomena. Why don't you believe in Gods. Hinduism is older than Judaism.
If you believe in religious healers you have greater problems than I can help you with.
While most organized religions were discredited long ago, no one can disprove that a deity could not possibly exist, but there has never been any reason to give dieities any more thought than any other archetype that could come out of the human mind.
