It's Rick Astley and I have no idea. I haven't heard anything until now. As a matter of fact, this is the first time that I have seen this video for a long long time.

I haven't heard any Christians making a big deal about this video. Maybe because the guys in it looks gay?

In case you hadn't noticed....it's probably because of the shadow of an upside down cross (Satanic symbol) in the background above the archway behind him on the right side of the screen. It shows at different times during the song.......Just another way to let you know that Satan is the "god of this age." Sad but true.

My guess is that it looks like it takes place in an abandoned church, and since the styles of the 80s were a little weird, the singer looks....for lack of a better word....gay. One heck of a voice he's got, though!
