Around 13 months is about as tall as they get and then they start to fill in mostley in the chest and get their blocky heads I say about 2 years is what your mature pitbull will look like. Also depends on the parents. Because my younger pitbull is 13 months and is bigger than my 3 year old pit. And he is just now starting to thicken up. 9 months is way to early to stop growing he's still a big pup.

There are different kinds of Pit Bulls. My dad has a male Staffordshire Terrier. He is full grown, weighs about 70 pounds and is about 21/2 feet tall foot to top of head.

He may gain several more pounds but the most common size is between 35 - 55 lbs. Most think that the pit should be huge due to their muscle size but this is a misconception. If a pit gets overly large in weight he is probably mixed with another breed of dog. I would really recommend that you neuter your pet. Neutering a male eliminates the possibility of testicular tumors and greatly reduces the chance of prostate problems. Neutering decreases the incidence of perianal tumors and hernias, which are commonly observed in older, unaltered males. Neutered males are less likely to try to escape a yard to find a female in season. This reduces the likelihood of them being hit by cars, getting into fights or lost. Spaying and neutering before sexual maturity also offers a temperament benefit. Males neutered early in life tend to be less aggressive and less distracted. Neutered males are less likely to scent mark (real problem when they decide to mark inside the house). Just a few things to consider.

Hard to say, at 9 months he's pretty much a big as he's going to get, he'll probably put on 10 more pounds though.

It pretty much depends on how big his parents are. But at 9 months he should be about as big as he is going to get.

He's probably pretty much full grown. I would guess he may get a little bit heavier (more muscular) as he gets older. They really aren't HUGE dogs.

My pit bull is 6 years old and weighs about 85 lbs. I am 5'11', and when he stands on his hind legs, and puts his paws on my shoulders, we look eyeball to eyeball......he is beautiful.
