definition of Signal and power diode..?

I just need the definition of Silicon Signal diode and Silicon Power diode

power diodes just handle more current.
they are basically the same.

Yeah and sometimes signal diodes are faster (lower junction capacitance for example).
Also some people call signal diodes rectifier diodes which rectifier a signal. Hope this helps. My $0.02

signal diodes are generally rated for 200 ma or less current. power class diodes have higher continuous current ratings.
