She asked:
-----
Why in the world does he (Calderon, president of Mexico) think that this should have any baring on what we think or do? Is it like he thinks that we would change our minds about anything - just because he says something?

I answered:
-----
0K, why should this be important to us?

I'm Mexican, I live in the border, and I've been asked many times by Americans what is Mexico doing to keep Iraqis from getting into the USA.

To which I answer NOTHING.

You are right! I agree, we are nothing but neighbors, and we should not care about our neighboring country.

Just like you don't care what our president has to say, we don't have to care what yours has to say about us having to do something that only concerns YOU.

----
Is there a better answer to her question?

Well, I guess, your answerers are all on her side, cause they are all from United States...

I'm from Mexico, and I answered her question telling basically that, in Politics what you maybe think is not important for you, could be important some day, and if she doesn't care what our president has to say, just let it go and answer some questions that she cares. I guess this is a free will site, and no one is obligating her to answer that question.

See you later, don't be angry at anyone of these people, they have a different way to think and live.

Merci!!!

I'm not familiar with his questions, but I often wonder similar things when I see things posted about how awful white people are. There are alot of jerks roaming around the internet, trying to stir up people's emotions. It's best not to give them the satisfaction of being taken seriously.

She is probably just another beligerent, arrogant ugly American who does not give a damn for any other country or their peoples let alone what the need, think, want etc.

She is also probably one of those good little monumentally hypocritical Christians.

The world is now beginning to see Americans at long last being held accountable for the atrocities that they have committed in the world like these :

http://www.huppi.com/kangaroo/CIAtimeline.html

Everyday throughout the media all we here about is the death of US soldiers but seldom if ever one bloody word about the over 400,000 innocent Iraqi civilians slaughtered as a result of America's filthy illegal war that is based on a pack of lies.

Good answer to her!!

Your people sneak in, use up our resources, raise our costs, commit crimes and get sent away, come back and start over. You proliferate like rabbits and now are the number one group in California then fly your flag here and fly ours upside down. You have your family name plastered all over your trucks and wherever else and spout Latino pride. I'm not sure why anyone would be angry about that. If you are so proud and happy about Mexico, then why do you stay? Welcome to Mexifornia now go home!

Sounds like your the haters. We should put this wasting energy of anger and better our own countries. If you put all this time you spend on this question on bettering your country Mexico that is one step to making it a better place. Don't you think?

I don't see anything to indicate she is a Mexican hater in her question. She is just saying what she believes is an attempt by the Mexican president to influence our immigration policy. Mexico has strict immigration policies and then say we should not enforce ours. It is hypocritical of him to tell us it is wrong but OK for Mexico.

Her point wasn't to you, but to our media which seemed to think we should find it persuasive. I agree that Mexico is SUPPOSED to be about what is best for Mexico, the problem is that our own president isn't similarly loyal to OUR citizens.

She was not hateful and you were stupid. People like you see no problem with some blowhard from another country telling us how to do things, but if we reverse it you screech like a Dacian Catamite.

I saw no hatred of Mexicans in her question. You appear to be just like American blacks who see a racist under every stinking rock where, in reality, there is none.
The woman asked an honest question. No hatred there.

I think you stated the obvious that Mexico cares nothing about the welfare of the US...only about themselves...BUT you didn't answer HER question at all (which was quite limited and specific)...you only promoted YOUR agenda.

She asked about why Calderon felt the US should consider HIS thoughts important. Her question sounded no more hateful than your answer. Physician heal thyself. Ain't hypocrisy grand?
