I am 106, and want to be 100 lbs. How can I lose it without exercising?
I can't do any exercising, I just had an operation. I've just started walking.

1st & foremost, i would think your primary object would be to recover from you surgery...
and 2nd, since you recently had surgery, you should still be under a doctors care. meaning i would suggest speaking with your doctor prior to beginning any weight loss program.
& finally -- your objective of losing weight, without exercising is not realistic.. for effective weight loss, you need to burn calories & that often includes EXERCISING!!! there are low-impact options available to assist you in your efforts..
get clerance from you doctor prior to beginning any weight loss program -- considering your circumstances..

A little walking could be enough at present. Never look for fast weight loss, first of all.Try to eat 6 small meals a day. This helps your metabolism. Also, eat a small meal as soon as you wake up each day. When your body has been fasting for 14 hours, when you don't eat breakfast you body thinks you're out of food and stores all the fat that it can so you can survive.
A possible schedule for you:
1. When you wake up :1 1/2 cup bowl low sugar cereal
2.11:00 - bowl of carrots and an apple
3. 2:00 - bowl of brown rice
4. 5:00 - pasta meal w/ yogurt
5. 8:00 - 2 hard boiled eggs
Follow the general flow of the intake of fruits, vegatables, grains, and dairy. When you drink a large glass of water with each meal, it fills you up 2-3x faster. That helps hunger craving control.

12 Tips for Atkins Diet
1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.
2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.
3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.
4. Don't weigh yourself more than once a week
5. Take starting measurements as well as weight - sometimes you'll lose inches before pounds
6. Avoid any type of "low carb" sweetener for the first two weeks
7. Don't compare your loss to someone else's - this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)
8. Stalls are common around the third week so don't panic
9. If you follow your plan to the T and don't lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese, mushrooms and any other fermented food
10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison
11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts - make sure your doctor knows that you're doing low carb and when you started
12. Don't blame the diet if you don't read your plan book -- blame the diet if you don't read the labels -- Don't blame the diet if you don't follow the diet

walking is exercise, and if you just started walking after an operation, why are you worried about a losing 6 lbs. You have to take things in stride and heal your body then worry about other things. Don't rush the healing process, you will be sorry.

how tall are you? and why is 100 lbs your magic number? you have to take into account that the human body is not only made of fat. You are made of mostly water, muscle and bone along with fat. bodyfat is absolutely necessary. are you willing to sacrifice any of these necessities to make it to 100 llbs. just make sure your body fat level is not too high. it should be a min of 12% for a female.
also you don't want to hinder your recovery by going on a strict diet. you need to maintain your weight while in this state.

I suppose you're asking: "How to lose 6 lbs of body fat?".
Losing weight is different from losing body fat. The only effective way of losing body fat is by eating nutritious food and exercise.
