How easy is it to catch sexually transmitted disease. A lot of people say it is impossible absent sexual endeavors. Yet, I hear and know of some who say they contracted it otherwise such as minor cuts on hand, face, other parts facilitate transfer of std. What is your or friends experience?

I don't think it is that likely. However, I would imagine that if both people were to have cuts on their hands (and one of them was bleeding) and then held hands it would be possible, but not very likely to transmit an STD.

the transfer of blood in any situation can facilitate the transfer of blood borne infections, tho it is more unlikely, it can happen. That is why breaks in the skin should always be covered with a bandage and oral hygiene and hand washing are so importanat.
