my mom got bit by something right above the eyebrow, at first it was like a little bump, the next day, it moved down next to her eye, and it was very big, it extended from her eyebrow down to the top of her cheek. She can't stop scratching it and it's giving her a headache....what is it??

an ice pack for twenty minutes every hour will greatly reduce the itch and the swelling, as it is so close to her eye, I would strongly recommend a visit to a doctor if it isn't better after icing for 24 hours.

It might be an allergic reaction. Tell her to stop scratching. The bug that bit her may have a small amount of poison so if she keeps scratchng it will run down the face. Call your doctor as soon as you can.

Sounds like a spider bite that she might be having an allergic reaction to. She should see a doctor.

possibly a spider bite, it sounds like the poison has leaked down her face a bit. Make sure she does not scratch or it will leak even further. I would go to the doctor to make sure it wasnt a serious spider bite.
