Not like people have, but they do use expressions, with there eyes, ears, and tail!
You can usaley tell what mood he's in by looking at these three things, if he's angry or annoyed, the ears will lay flat on his head, and sometimes his tail will "twitch". His eye's will become slanted.
If he's happy, you can sometimes hear him purring, and his tail will move smothley in soft strokes, and his eye's will have a " happy" or "lazy" look to them.
Generaley if they are upset or sad about something, they usauley let you know by making a "crying" meowing sound, and will have a wider look in there eye apperance, and will sometimes pace.
I hope this helps !

Whoa do they ever!

The frown at the chipmunks out on the patio, the expectant 'me now!???' when the food can is opened, the 'pe-eww' when the litter box is too smelly, the bored 'get away from me' look, and the 'I saw the ball roll under the bed' look............they have a whole group of expressions that show up on their face where they use the eyes, mouth, nose bridge, eyebrows and ears to show.

My cat does. Her pupils get huge when she tries to attack me and her mouth ends up in a sort of straight line. Hard to explain, but I know when she is going to attack. She also gets a really weird look on her face when she smells a werid smell. Her mouth opens and her eyes squint sort of...

oh yes, they smile, and their eyes get big when they are alert, or going to attack. cats talk with their ears and tail, search for a guide on the internet to depict what they mean.
