Also, we have already had the electricity cut off once and it is due to be cut off again if the bill is not paid. Yet they blow and go like there is no tomorrow! I don't think my daughter knows the seriousness of the situation, but I don't know if I should tell her or mind my own business.

i think you should alert your daughter to the situation at hand. Maybe he's in charge of the cash and bills and she thinks everything is under control. If you talk to her about the behind payments, maybe she can intervien and stop all this blowing and going until they can afford to do so without putting their bills and credit at risk.

If she's not been involved in the responsibility of the payments, yes, you better get involved a bit. Especially if the mortgage is in your name and your credit is at risk. If not in your name, and they lose the house, then they may be out on the street and looking for you to take them in. You don't say if they are sharing the house with you or not, so I don't really know what you have at risk.

organize a family meeting with everybody involved. Tell that you all have a problem, and you need to solve it. Make sure that everybody comes up with solutions and that everybody is taking their share in the responsibility.
Take your own responsibility too, rethink the whole thing and come up with a better arrangement which is more probable to work.

Well if it is your house...Yes of course....and if by chance your daughter knows of the situation, let them fall and pick themselves up....they are adults and should know responsiblity

I dont know your situation or anything but why is it his responsibility to pay your bills? Do they live with you? Are you disabled? Depending on the situation, you should tell her.
