Large game a Bow, because bow hunters get to go out before the woods are full of bullets and people.
Small game a shotgun for obvious reasons

Bow ( I assume were talking deer ). You have to become very intimate with an animal. You are in his/her living room. Your probably not gonna get a shot more than 30 yards. Practice everyday you can year round to become efficient enough to make an ethical harvest. The worst thing you can do is bad shot placement. Trust me you will feel terrible. Don't give up each hunt is a learning experience. The thrill doesn't have to be the kill. I bow hunted 4years before I was able to get a clean shot. It was worth every hour in that tree stand. Over the years now I will have selected a certain buck that I become very personal with months before season opens. In my state you only get one buck if you take it in bow season that's it no more bucks. This has improved the number and quality of bucks. 28 days till opening day. Best of luck to ya. O' yea as far as gun hunting, anyone can aim a rifle at a deer 100 yards or more and squeeze a trigger. Archery hunters are the real deal

I'll have to say shotgun, cuz I don't know what we're hunting. I usually hunt with a handgun and shooting a bow up a tree at a squirrel could get hazardous real fast.

I haven't hunted for years and sold my rifle. I would like to learn how to use a bow for sport though.
Last time I hunted was with my dad 20 years ago.
Not sure why I stopped, change of plans and heart I suppose. I look at life different now then when I was younger.
I don't dislike it, I just choose not too now.
