If he doesn't help babies in Africa and sends floods and earthquakes that demolish churches?

People credit God when an outcome reflects the wishes of prayer (since B follows A, then A caused B). A family may thank God for the miracle of the recovery of a loved one. But a doctor may exaggerate the severity of the illness so as to avoid a malpractice suit.

Meanwhile a hurricane may kill thousands of devout Christians. Who questions God then?

God does answer prayers, but it takes faith, without faith prayers are just words.

for the part about floods and earthquakes, God designed earth to work in specific ways, earth follows these principles. God doesn't make us stay on earth, God designed gravity to hold us here. He doesn't make the sun send us heat, He designed the sun in such a way that it would send it by itself.

Believing that God answers prayers makes people feel special and warm and fuzzy inside. But if you look at prayer from a more rational standpoint, it's obviously a superstition.

He does answer prayers... but resonable ones. If you pray to win the lottery... well, even He is against gambling.

If you pray for confidence, He'll help you with that. If you pray for strength or willpower, He'll offer it to you.

If you pray for materialistic things chances are they will not just fall from the sky...

It all depends on what you pray for.

Because he does answer prayer. That's why think that he does.

Does God really send those bad things? Are you certain about that? Or is this world just a horrible place, full of sin and hatred and bitterness and bad things?

May be because you haven't had one answered as yet. It's like a lotto, if you don't buy a ticket you do not have a chance. If you did not put in a request you cannot get an answer.

If you don't believe in Him, Don't blame Him!!!
If you try to blame Him, doesn't that mean you really do believe in Him?
I think you have some issues to work out.
You have suppressed anger.
