A lie detector:
The ability to demonstrate that I had been condemned to hell for my honest beliefs would offer a peculiar degree of comfort, and commentary on the one who had so assigned me.

1. Then, I'd really get mad at God for creating such a stupid system. (the fact that you have to be a Christian to go to heaven)
2. That wouldn't be a giggle. Hell (if it exists) is not a place you'd want to be.
3. I don't think we'd have an option.

Hell is the grave and any thinking person would know that any father would not torture his child endlessly because he didn't live up to his expectations. I can see a person dieing or just going away. Some people really don't deserve to live.
But kept alive just to torture? NO.
It was made up by religious clergy like everything else to make money. Nothing gets these old widows more than thinking they can pay a priest to pray thier dead husband out of hell. It says the lake of fire means the second death.
Or complete distruction.
Ecclastics 9:5 says the living are conscience that they will die but the dead are conscience of nothing at all.

A good warm coat, gloves, a scarf, a thermos of hot coffee and a personal hand warmer.

Cause Hell is going to freeze over before I get there.

What if the Norse were right and none of us will go to Valhalla? Last laugh would be on Eric the Red.

Well... For one thing, it's up to God to decide who goes to Hell or Heaven. No human can decide such thing on himself or on other humans.

Have to wonder what'll all happen if we all took fire extinguishers.

Otherwise I'd take a picnic for my Grandmother - cause as good, loving, Xian as she was the Fundies claim she's there.
