I don't mean this to sound insulting.
I was just listening to Laura Branigan's
version of Forever Young.
And I noticed she say's

I wan't to be Forever Young.
Do you really wan't to live forever, forever?

Does this offend you?

As I said I am not being mean when I ask this.
It's just that you say you wan't to live forever
in the kingdom of heaven forever.
I just thought this might be insulting to you.
That it says this in the song.

P.S I love Laura Branigan.
Don't you?

That is a horrible thing to say about
the best pop star on the planet.
And I don't like your judging tone.

I do and I think we will be like angels.
Thanks for asking and I was not offended and thanks for
being concerned that we might be!

I like Laura Branigan.
I also like Rod Stewart's song Forever Young by the way.
Have a good day.

Don't know Laura Branigan. I know I've heard the song and I remember the chorus, but I don't know the verses. I think it is a pleasant sounding song.

I am not offended at all by the song. Doesn't everyone want to be forever young, at least young at heart? I mean I'm 56 but I don't think if myself as that old. I think of myself as 30 (which I consider young) and I enjoy acting a lot younger than 56. Anyway, I see nothing offensive in the song.

I sometimes wonder too. It was the eminent Bertrand Rusell who said:
"I should scorn to shiver with terror at the thought of annihilation. Happiness is nonetheless true happiness because it must come to an end, nor do thought and love lose their value because they are not everlasting."

I don't even know Laura Branigan and I could care less what she sings, but if it is against God she will answer for it, just like you will answer for it. Every idle word spoken will be held accountable to God come Judgment Day.

You are a rebellious person and God sent His Son to die for your sins and you are rejecting God's Son. God holds your very breath in His hand and you reject Him.

It's just a song; it does not insult me at all. Everyone has a right to his or her opinion.
