God doesnot have followers. People follow God, till they do not know it, its attributes and its whereabouts. When anyone knows God, he need not follow any more.

People make him God and man made God has followers.

Isn't it more true to say: "How about followers without a god?"

He is God. He isn't God because people believe in Him. He is God because He is God. Genesis 1 verse 1 says 'In the Beginning God.....' Notice nothing was created and low and behold God was still there.
Would you cease to exist if I don't believe in you? Would you cease to exist if nobody believed in you? Think about it.

Non existent. Gods only "exist" if there is someone to believe in them, but only as much as an imaginary friend exists when a child believes in it.
